Discover Dominica Authority continues to incorporate social media tools into the strategic promotion of its tourism product with the launch of its new interactive fan page on top social networking website, Facebook.
Entitled, “Discover Dominica,” the page features Dominica’s logo, link to the island’s official tourism website, www.discoverdominica.com, photos and videos of the island, discussion board and more.
The “Discover Dominica” page contains information of interest to potential travelers and is easily accessible to Internet users globally. The page encourages Facebook users to become “fans” of Dominica by adding “Discover Dominica” to their fan pages, which then provides access to the feature and information available on the page.

Once a Facebook user has signed up as a “fan,” that person is invited to discover Dominica’s culture, nature, activities, attractions, health and wellness and to interact with the destination and each other by sharing photos, videos, reviews, travel tips and stories about their past experiences on “the Nature Island.”
