A Fast Cure – Sinus
Would you like to know about a procedure that could be a very significant step toward a sinus cure? For many years I had suffered from sinus pressure. Regular over-the-counter medications only treated temporarily some of the symptoms, and when I got an infection the doctor prescribed an antibiotic. This cycle repeated itself for several decades, way too long. About four years ago I set out to find a cure, not just relieve symptoms. Hopefully one that would be natural–no pills. I am delighted I found it. Let me share with you this second step:
An effective base for healing
When the mucus in a sinus cavity stops flowing and accumulates it becomes an excellent place for bacteria to grow and a sinus infection is around the corner.

Homeopathic remedy temporarily relieves symptoms of the flu or cold like cough, runny nose, fever, sore throat and fatigue

I had a difficult time getting my sinuses to flow and I came to the conclusion that there was something basic that somehow was not right and that among other things it was causing my sinus problem. That was when I turned to chiropractic. This therapeutic system is based on the premise that the spine and the nervous system interact. Which means that if any of the vertebrae which make up the spine is somehow out of alignment, it will impair nerves, some of which provide the nerve energy organs need to function. The consequences of an organ malfunction is not what anyone of us needs or wants. Thus chiropractic goes to the root cause of some of the problems–pain. organic stresses, malfunction of the sinuses or other respiratory organs, etc.,–when no medical professional seems to be able to find the cause for them.
Often the vertebra which is out of alignment and that is causing any number of different health problems is the atlas vertebra, which is the one the skull sits on. It can get out of alignment at child birth, as the new born is being eased through the birth canal, or as a result of a blow to the head from an accident, etc.
How the realignment of the atlas is done
The chiropractic procedure to adjust the atlas is totally painless and it is done with an “activator”–a small “T” shape device placed on the side of the neck and then triggered, pushing gently the vertebra back into place, again, painlessly. The whole procedure takes about 3 minutes or less and it is preceded by a series of X ray pictures of the upper neck area to ascertain what the physician needs to do. Many health insurance plans now cover chiropractic. Anyone interested in having this procedure done should seek a recommendation for a trusted, experienced chiropractor in his or her area who is experienced in the atlas vertebra adjustment.
Conclusion
Given that every organ of the body, including those connected with the respiratory system, are activated by nerves, it is important to ascertain whether the body’s nerves running through the spinal cord are being impaired by a misalignment of the atlas vertebra–”subluxation of the atlas” in chiropractic jargon. Since the atlas is the only vertebra that has some degree of movement any misalignment thereof could exert pressure on the spinal cord nerves and cause health problems, including in the sinus areas. This is equivalent to going to the potential root, not only of sinus problems, but of many others, too. I had this procedure done and I am very pleased with the results, since it has not only helped my sinuses, but it has given my body a better chance to take care itself of other health issues. Unless sinus ailments are tackled at their potential roots we could be just treating symptoms that will probably never go away.
