Are You Ready? Lose Weight Now
If you read the newspapers or watch television news, opportunity is the last thing that you think about. Most people are thinking of survival, not about opportunity. It’s all very depressing, but is it? Are we all talking ourselves into a problem? Is it all becoming a self-fulfilling prophecy? Perhaps we should change our mind-set and start thinking of what opportunities the future could hold?
What is happening to the world? It’s difficult to make sense of it sometimes, but this sort of thing happens very rarely. Actually it’s a ‘good thing’. Why? Because the ‘old order’ is being given its marching orders. They have been seen through. We have had enough of greed and corruption. The interests of the many need to prevail over the interests of the few.
There is little point in worrying about what has happened. If we concentrate on this too much it will be totally counter-productive. We all know where the blame lies. We need to get our minds on more productive things. We need to be thinking about the world we want to live in. We need to concentrate on creating institutions that will support a just and fair society.
Hopefully we can look forward to a new world order. We all need to be able to work together in the new global economy and we have to have systems that support this. It’s a big readjustment.
This is all very well, but what has all this got to do with opportunity, and more interestingly, losing weight? It’s important because it’s all to do with change. The world is going through a process of dramatic change, and so must we if we are to be able to recognize and take advantage of new opportunities.
One of the symptoms of the general malaise that the world has been suffering from is the obesity epidemic. Although it has many different causes, it is a manifestation of our unhappiness with the world and with ourselves. We have allowed ourselves to become mentally and physically flabby.
If we are to be able to take advantage of future opportunities, we have to make changes in our lives. We have to become leaner and fitter. If we do we will be able to benefit from opportunities when they occur. We will be more able to create them for ourselves., But we have to start to make change – now!
To some the thought of making change is daunting. It’s not really. All it means is that you have to identify your bad habits and learn new ones, slim habits. If you do, the weight you will lose will be permanent. Permanent weight loss comes from changing your behavior. It’s long-lasting and will enable you to be fit and able to create a bright and successful future.
