Toenail Fungus Cure
Cure for toenail fungus can vary. You can try store bought creams and ointments or you can try some home remedies which could be just as effective.
- If you wear shoes at work, you should take a few hours and take your shoes off to soak your feet in an Epsom salt and then wear new socks for the rest of the day. This might seem like a lot of work but if you do it everyday, it would help clear up the fungal infection. If you don’t have to walk around all day long and would spend quite some time in front of the computer or sitting down, it’s better if you don’t put your shoes on until the last minute.
- At night, sleep with your feet outside of the blanket. In the event that your feet get cold, wear a pair of socks but cut the tips off to give your toes some ventilation. The point is to keep your feet well ventilated because the fungus would thrive in the warmth.
- Tea Tree Oil is also a well known cure for toenail fungus. It is quite effective and helps in further improving the state of your toenails. I’m not really sure as to how it works, exactly, but it also helps in treating tinea pedis.
Basically, the idea here is to keep your feet always dry. Use talcum to keep the moist out and change your socks regularly. If you don’t have to wear shoes, wear flip-flops or sandals so that your feet would receive much needed ventilation. All these little things would help in contributing to making your infection better and eventually help clear it up. Magnesium sulfate also helps as an effective drying agent and so does Epsom salt. So, keep these handy whenever you wear shoes and feel that your feet are moist. These would help dry your feet quickly.
