Remedies For Hemorrhoids Other Than Hemorrhoids Surgery
When many people are diagnosed with recurring hemorrhoids it can be a very stressful experience, and that’s not even considering the pain caused by the hemorrhoids. Simply not knowing where to turn after each topical treatment for hemorrhoids bought at the local pharmacy fails. For many people, this ailment can be more embarrassing too, it’s not something that people during casual conversation and many people find it difficult to discuss with anyone at all–even a physician.
Before I go any further I’d like to state one thing, if you haven’t seen a physician–more than likely–you probably should.
Even if it’s difficult to speak to them about your pain and discomfort, keep in mind that doctor’s have heard it all, and more. Plus, something over seventy-five percent of people living in the United States either have or have had hemorrhoids at some point during the lifespan, so more than likely your doctor has seen several cases the very same day before you even walk into the waiting room. However, if you are already considering hemorrhoids surgery you may want to consider your other options as well–if for no other reason, just because you do have other options to consider. Even someone who has their mind set should always weight every possible option and outcome, so when dealing with a medical issue, such as this, why shouldn’t you be entitled to hear every possible route for treatment?
Would you believe that changing your dieting habits or your bowel movement habits could even alleviate the pain? Doesn’t that sound much better than having to undergo hemorrhoids surgery? Or would you rather deal with the possible risks associate with hemorrhoids surgery?
Here are a few common suggestions–drink more fluids, juices and water would be the best–think healthy, people! Beer and wine are not considered recommended “fluids,” though “fluids” they may be. And, of course, the recommendation for any bowel-movement associated problems–eat more fiber! Break out the wheat bread!
Now, that should help with your dieting habits, but you may also want to take it easy on doing any strenuous lifting. Also, be gentle with the toilet paper, no scrubbing like you’re trying to clean off the residue on a barbecue grill! Wire brushes are not advised, you could switch up your current brand of toilet paper and go for something a little softer. All in all, get a little advice from a physician, get informed, and take it easy!
