How To Rid Yourself From Excessive Sweating
No one can be certain of the main cause of excessive sweating but there are many theories on this embarrassing ailment and one that tops the list is genetics. Studies have pointed to overactivity in the sympathetic nervous system. Essentially meaning that its potentially a thyroid issue. With hyper-hydrosis (excessive sweating) its symptoms can strike anywhere and at any time; face, body and hands. You may find yourself sweating in many different parts of your body all while simply standing still. Just because the main culprit is genetics doesn’t mean that there is no hope for a cure or a way to remedy the situation. As a matter of fact there are several things you can do to at least have it affect your life less.
Lets first take a look at what possibly makes it worse. Several things can exacerbate hyper-hydrosis such as: hygiene, overactivity and diet. First things first; hygiene is an important issue and one that cant really be ignored when it comes to causes of excessive sweating. If you don’t follow proper hygiene you may have clogged body pores that don’t allow your body to cool properly and in turn will make you sweat more in an ongoing attempt to keep yourself cool… Always shower/bathe at least once per day and limit your use of any lotions or creams that could cause blockage of pores.
If you are constantly overactive you may want to cut down on your activity level or find a cooler place to be, that way you can cool your body down and make it less prone to sweating. If that cant be managed make sure to drink lots of fluid and that could possibly cool you down and cause you to sweat less.
Food can also have a dramatic impact on excessive sweating. Some foods cause our bodies to overheat quickly such as spicy foods or alcohol. Both spicy food and alcohol cause your body temperature to rise; especially alcohol as it robs your body of fluids that keep you cool. Same way a car needs oil to stay cool your body needs fluids and with out it you will begin to overheat and your body will sweat in an attempt to cool down.
Excessive sweating is an annoying and often times embarrassing issue; following some of these steps can help reduce the symptoms significantly and make it less impactful on your day to day life.
