Once you raise your immune system, everything starts coming right.

So it isn’t the peptic ulcer that is the problem, it’s your depressed immune system.

If you want to use homeopathy for the natural treatment of peptic ulcers, you need to either consult with a professional homeopath, which is probably the fastest way. Or you may be able to help yourself by doing some home prescribing.

You need to be able to see a symptom picture, that is a whole picture of not only your peptic ulcer problem, but also of you as a person, if you can be that objective. The best results will come by using a medicine which will match these symptom pictures.

The homeopathic medicine Phosphorus is a great medicine for resolving peptic ulcers, as well as a great number of other ailments, by raising your immune system.

See if you can match your symptoms to those of the strong, keynote symptoms of Phosphorus.

They include:

• hematemesis (vomiting of blood) which is bright red or like coffee grounds, which is dried blood
• normally crave very cold drinks, which is vomited back up as soon as it warms in the stomach (around 15 minutes)
• normally has other areas of bleeding which doesn’t clot – nose bleeds, bleeding wounds, etc
• may have other issues with blood, such as anemia, etc

An interesting aside from this topic is the widespread use of super phosphates and NPK (high in the isolated minerals) in agricultural fertilising. This results in a high amount of phosphorus in the food chain. Too much of any mineral puts other minerals and vitamins badly out of balance.The homeopathic form of the cause of a problem, often addresses it. So if everyone’s health is out of balance from too much phosphorus in their diet, the homeopathic medicine Phosphorus should, in theory, help everyone.

But, of course, life is never that simple.

It’s only in natural health care, and especially in homeopathy, that the cause of a malady is linked to an emotional upset that was not possible to resolve. Most people are rife with unresolved emotional upsets. The west looks upon emotions as a dirty word. They are not encouraged. And so are pushed down, suppressed, and not resolved.

They can be extremely painful as the intestines twist. Each peristaltic movement (rhythmic pulsing of the bowel) of the twisted intestines creates pain.

Another name for abdominal cramps is colic or stomach pain. And often, you will see that someone with colic has what is considered an ‘angry arching of the back’. So there’s the anger link. Babies often arch their backs angrily during a particularly painful colic episode. And Nux vomica may be the most suitable medicine to resolve this.

The natural treatment of abdominal cramps is holistic – that it it takes the whole of you into consideration: the possible cause and your unique symptoms. For the most lasting resolution of any problem, this is the best approach.
